"Jill, you are so brave to tell your story!"

This is the overwhelming response I get when anyone hears my story. Brave, maybe. Obedient, definitely.

In 1999, God spoke to my heart and said, "One day you will write a book." This in itself would not scare most people, but I was not a writer, and I did not love to read. And to top it off, this word from God came years before I healed from years of shame and guilt.

During my healing process in the summer of 2001, God taught me how to get free. Over the next twenty-two years he showed me how to walk in that freedom. Then he said, "Now! Write it now!" Secrets of the Little Green-Eyed Girl is my memoir. I share my personal, raw story of what led to years of living in shame. But the best part and why I believe why God wanted me to tell my story is the how-to. How to walk daily in the freedom Jesus died to provide.

I hope you find encouragement in my story.

"Christ’s strength shines through this engaging narrative.

Jill writes in a thoroughly engaging way about a topic many might want to keep hidden. She overcame that reluctance, and her courage to face truth and embrace victory in Christ is exemplary.

Jill’s insights and honesty yield practical help for those of us who desire complete freedom in Christ."

"This testimony is a beautiful, vulnerable and raw look into the healing power of our God when we bring our fears, shame, and guilt and willingly lay them at his feet.

If you have ever felt alone in your struggle against guilt or shame, this is the book for you. This powerful, faith-filled woman gives anyone who listens to her testimony the hope that we never walk the path alone, and she reminds us that if we trust in Him we will find Freedom.

Thank you, Jill, for bravely saying yes to God in writing this book!"

"Raw, honest, vulnerable, and Gods redeeming love This book was a quick read. It was very honest, raw, vulnerable. I think I get it. It is not about what she did, but how she believed, how she overcame, how she loved. It came together for me in Chapter 10, Winning the Day.

Her story is not about the little girl, or the pornography, or her dad, the lies she believed….

It is about her journey with God. It is about wanting to help others. It is about love."

"Take the Shame out of your secret!

The honest truth of the story makes you see that God can redeem anything! Shame and secrecy are a tool the devil uses to keep us in a prison…

Jill’s honesty and vulnerability made me brave enough to face my own secret and find freedom."
